Terms

Terms of use for AdvancingBud.

These terms explain the basic rules for using the AdvancingBud Backoffice, Portal, Support system and this website. By using AdvancingBud, you agree to them.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to all users of the AdvancingBud application and website, including Backoffice users (such as tour managers or admins) and Portal users (such as band members, crew, drivers and support acts).

In many cases, your account is provided to you by a band, company or organisation. That organisation may have additional agreements with us. If there is a conflict between those agreements and these terms, that agreement will usually take priority for that organisation’s use of AdvancingBud.

2. Your account and access

  • You must keep your login details private and not share them with others.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • If you suspect someone else may have access to your account, contact your tour manager or organisation immediately, and also let us know via the contact form on /contact.php.

3. Acceptable use

When using AdvancingBud, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the service in a way that breaks the law or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Try to access data for bands, tours or users you are not allowed to see.
  • Attempt to bypass our security or interfere with the operation of the service.
  • Upload or store content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing or otherwise abusive.

4. Content and data inside AdvancingBud

Many parts of AdvancingBud contain data entered by your band, crew or organisation (for example tours, shows, rooming lists, guestlists and notes). That data remains the responsibility of the organisation that entered it.

We do not control or verify every piece of data entered into the system. Always check important details such as show times, addresses, travel and safety information with your own team and partners.

5. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep AdvancingBud available and improve it over time, but there may be times when the service is unavailable due to maintenance, updates or unexpected issues.

  • Features may change, be improved or occasionally removed.
  • We may temporarily limit or suspend access in order to protect the service or other users.

6. Liability

AdvancingBud is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Blackbriar Music VOF is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages (such as lost profits or missed opportunities).
  • Data entered incorrectly by users or organisations using the platform.
  • Downtime, technical issues or data loss, although we aim to prevent these.

7. Termination of access

Your access to AdvancingBud can be ended by your band or organisation (for example when a tour ends or you leave a crew), or by us if:

  • You seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or
  • Your organisation’s access to the service is ended.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy page explains how we handle personal data, including what we collect, how we use it and your choices. Please read it together with these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when we add new features or change how AdvancingBud works. When the changes are significant, we will highlight this inside the app or on this website.

10. Governing law

Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these terms and any disputes relating to AdvancingBud are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
